Driving Nepal towards a sustainable future
We promote the electrification and digitalization of Nepal's public transport sector. This will reduce emissions and make transportation more convenient for both, passengers and operators.

About the project
Sustainable Electric Transport for Nepal (SET4NPL) aims to make public transport sustainable, convenient, and digital by introducing Support Packages for 3,500 Electric Public Mini- and Microbuses. Under the SET4NPL framework, public transport operators have access to beneficial support mechanisms which helps them transition to electric mobility. SET4NPL is introducing several digital components to make public transportation more convenient for everyone, including mobile applications and digital ticketing.
To improve the prospects for electric mobility overall, the project supports the expansion of Nepal’s network of public fast charging stations along with modern management and payment solutions for charging station operators and EV users.
